Rogue Blood Beasts

It's uncertain how long Blood Beasts have been around for, but we know that it's been a while. They can live and thrive in most climates, though this doesn't appear reflect their coloration.
Pure Blood Beasts are said to have nine lives, though all nine lives can be taken should the damage inflicted be severe enough; and they are not immortal. Because of this, it is uncertain for how long a healthy Blood Beast may live. They can contract common sicknesses, diseases and are susceptible to feline ailments and deformaties.
They are a critically endangered species, and it's uncertain why they have declined in numbers. This doesn't appear to have effected what remaining Blood Beasts there are.

A noteable behavioral feature of the Blood Beasts is their bloodrage. When they become enraged, stressed, or they are more likely to attack, they go into something known as bloodrage. It's a strong lust for blood and it causes them to often attack without provication. Their eyes also shift in color from bright blue to bright red.
Many Blood Beasts are family and pride oriented. They enjoy the company of other Blood Beasts over a lack of company, even other species are often welcomed guests. Though because of the recent decline in numbers, some Blood Beasts may not be as welcoming to other species.
